This is a BBQ seasoning recipe that I have created myself, and personally, I think its perfect! If you’ve been redirected over from another recipe to learn how to make the Healthy Hearty Wholesome BBQ seasoning recipe, your in the right place! It uses blends of smoked paprika, garlic, mustard and pepper, with a hint of salt and of course a not so subtle sweetness that makes BBQ so moreish. Instead of sugar, this recipe uses sweetener making it perfect for all of your low calorie recipes.
This recipe uses a carefully selected blend of :
Grab and old or empty herb jar and this recipe should fill it perfectly. Make sure you have washed out the jar really well so that you don’t taint the flavours. Mix together your seasonings in a bowl. Make a quick funnel from some scrap paper to make a funnel and pour the seasonings into the jar so its ready to be sprinkled whatever dish you like, its as easy as 1, 2, 3!
This seasoning will last for many months in a dry dark space like a cupboard but I guarantee you will use it up long before then!

- Empty seasoning jar
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 4 tsp sweetener
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion granules
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- Mix together seasonings in a bowl.
- Create a funnel using a peice of paper.
- Use the funnel to pour seasoning into jar for storage.
