Yogurt bark is such a quick and easy thing to make that it actually makes it really hard to write a yogurt bark recipe, because there is so little to actually write! Yogurt bark makes a great snack or dessert for any age, particularly in the hot summer sun. When made with fat free yogurt this yogurt bark recipe is a super low calorie snack which contributes to a healthy diet. These pieces of yogurt bark do however defrost quickly, so maybe not the best addition to a picnic.

So firstly, choose your yogurty base, for this recipe i used ASDA’s fat free Greek yogurt but you can in theory use any kind of yogurt, it doesn’t have to be unflavoured and if your not counting calories it doesn’t have to be fat free either, but we’re all here for the healthy recipes right?! I chose to flavour this yogurt with honey but again this step is down to preference. I absolutely love the way honey and yogurt look together.

Then, you need to choose your toppings. I chose a mixture of strawberries and raspberries. I cut the strawberries into thin slices and halved the raspberries. Now that you have your ingredients prepared you can get to the making stage. Line a baking tray with tin foil and pour your yogurt onto the baking tray, if necessary, use a knife or the back of a spoon to smooth over the yogurt.
